dont get me wrong i have a lot of fun bouldering & clipping bolts but to me they are not 'real' climbing (just a personal thing) so in my mind yes they are contrived, but theyre just training for the real thing, or something you do between adventures... so the more contrived the more training value yeh? hmmm i spose ya gotta draw a line for yaself somewhere.
anyway i am not in the least bit inspired to climb linkups but can see the value in them...dunno why you'd put lots of effort into them though (like adding extra bolts for it) when there's so many beaut lines out there for the plucking but hey each to their own |
