Interesting comment about motor racing being an adrenaline sport, I think its the same as climbing, and for that matter, full contact sport fighting, once you are into it. They were all a bit 'adrenaline dump-ish' when new but once they are no longer a foreign environment they all become part of a process which only creates an extreme physiological response when things go a bit pear-shaped. Once you are into it you are concentrating on the moment and all the molecules of emotion sort of drop down to become background static. I suppose all af these sports/pastimes/lifestyles are better called headspace sports.
