I would recommend some Swiss ball exercises for example just kneeling / standing on the ball. You can also add weight to the equation whilst kneeling and doing your standard weights (military press or push ups ( feet on or hands on ball) etc) this helps the stabiliser and core muscles to switch on.
You can also do a variation to the bridge / plank by lifting an arm or leg. OR Its best to do both sides at once (opposites) and then turn out say 45 degrees (leading with your hand) keeping your body level and a straight line running down your hand to your foot. (i suck at explaining things without a visual) This can also be incorperated to be used with a ball. With the lack of stability this causes the core muscles to contract.

Also ab excercise that use weights (aimed at working the abs, crunches, sit ups, leg lifts etc) generally stops using the core muscles as the major mover, but are still good for ur abs.
