Thanks for that Evan..
Interesting to see that the research was done in the area around Sydney, so it's very applicable to the Blue Mountains.
We have to start thinking, "would we prefer to have the birdlife around here or walk our dogs?"

I have good memories of sitting at Diamond Falls one day with a group of climbers.
Just across the valley a family of Wedge Tailed Eagles were teaching their baby to dive from the trees.
Some climbers had taken there dogs to the crags, and as soon as the dogs saw the eagles, they started barking loudly at them.
The wedge tails almost immediately flew off.

Unfortunately the next time I was at the Diamond Falls, the same dogs turned up.. their owners had missed the obvious message.
