'kapow' (as I understand it) is a word used in old style comic books or very old television shows like Batman. It would be used in the comic book when Batman punched a bad guy. 'Kapow' or 'bam' would be written to show that a really big punch had connected. So if you imagined three pictures in a comic book, the first would show Batman about to hit someone, the second would just have the word 'kapow!' in really big letters, and the third would show the bad guy lying on the ground. I used the word becuase I though my reply was quick and really accurate!
