The CBD gym is not far away, I know you have heard this all before, but ist true, its only a matter of time- suggest that you do weekly checks on www.hardrock.com.au to get more info.

At the present time there are ropes on the Pinaccle, there are ropes everywhere. One side of the pinnacle is lead only and they other we are debating about.
All walls are lead capable and tested in both Nunawading and CBD.

Tueday nights at Nunawading are "group" free nights, that means no community groups are booked in after 8pm, so its all yours to play with. This night you shouldnt have people top rope on top of you leading- I say shouldnt. The artic wall is lead only- no top ropes at on on this wall, so you have that to your selves, the roof is the same.

The CBD will have early mornings openings and we will also keep Tuesday group free.

With regards to leading in the gym, its not that long ago that there were only top ropes about.

Leading is a nightmare in any complex and we all do our best to keep it controlled. Insurance companies do not like lead climbing at all -they charge us more for letting it happen.
Altona charges more if you want to lead, there and limits the amount of people at any one time doing so. This is to cover the extra costs associated with leading.

Gym owners do their best to accommadate eveyone- its just that we can not please eveyone all the time.
