There was a bit of Mogadishu action if memory serves...another great sectarian schemozzle but of course without oil, the international community lost interest pretty quickly.

TAXES! Same like the gasper industry...

Of course it's like putting 16kg of soy protein into a cow to get one kg of beef out... law of diminishing returns. The tax earned on gambling probably doesn't offset the destruction it causes to individuals in the community, and tax on ciggies is poor compensation for all that heart and cancer surgery.

But the money is upfront.
