Controlled Burn in Vic Ranges, Grampians |

My cousin was planning to climb in Slander Gully last week. There was a "controlled" burn in the area. As the wind was at about 30kmh and as no CFA was around they rang the rangers, out of concern that it might NOT have been an "organised" burn. They were told that it was. When asked what was limiting the spread of the fire the ranger told them that it WOULD stop at the road! Well you can only hope, I suppose... |
