Do everything else - tie knot, scope route, collect clips, chalk hands - before putting on shoes.
Walk on heels to start because toes jammed in so tight.
Climb route in barely controlled agony.
Clip anchor, punch air with a "yes", then frantically get shoes off while being lowered off, preferably dropping them on ground before you get there.
Sit on ground and massage toes a bit before getting up to high-five buddies.
