Hi guys! Neil here. I just got back from an extended weekend trip to the Gramps where I got to meet Bomber and Lock face to face. Great to catch up with these guys in 'neutral territory' so to speak. Nothing like being belayed by someone to learn to trust them!

I'll try and cover all of Bombers comments as much as I can. I guess firstly I would appreciate these sorts of comments to be emailed to us rather than aired out in the public. At least giving us time to respond would be good! The magazine is currently entirly volenteer based. No-one is getting a cent for anything in this magazine. Everyone involved has been working off their own backs to get our idea of a community magzine onto the shelves and into the hand of Oz climbers. Personally I have invested more than $10 000 into this magazine to see it get published. You must remember that everyone is making this magazine as an act of love, not as a business. If you slam the work of volenteers then the enthusaim will quickly dry up and you'll be left with the old staus quo once again. Feedback and critue is good, but make sure its backed up by solid reserach. I am always available to chat to if you have any questions.

The current issue has more than 50 individual contributors from every state in Australia (apart from the northern territory). Yes, many of the writers are my 'mates' because I have met them from the magazine and this forum! I think it says something positive about the magazine and myslef that i have so many good friends all over the Australian climbing community who are willing to write/photograph something for this magazine.
