After Tod Skinner's demise and my initial thoughts as to why it had happened, ie tied in incorrectly due to same color loops, I've retired my Vertical Pheonix and I went in to Anaconda and bought a Petzl Corax today, asked if Anaconda's 10% off any advertised price was correct, they said yep, as long as it's a shop price not just a web site! UNTIL I said, "ok, I have them advertised at $135, I'll take it", THEN, they say's, "we have to check to make sure the shop mentioned has one in stock, orders don't count, also if it's out of area we have to add freight to the price"!

By the end of the transaction I felt like they thought I was trying to dud them, why bother with a marketing promotion if it just pisses everyone off!!

Bunnings have a similar 10% off, also Flight Centre have a "cheapest price guaranteed", do they carry on like that?
