Snakes on rock |

There seems to be an epidemic of snakes throwing themselves off cliffs! Maybe that's why they're endangered.
My most bothersome snake experience was at the Northern Group at Araps while I was belaying - the climber calling out for me to watch him, and me with my eyes firmly fixed on the largish brown that was casually bailing me up against the bottom of the cliff while I tried to ascend the first moves no-handed ... fortunately he didn't fall! |
