heya Bluey,

Skinfolds have a relatively high margin of error when using formula to determine body fat. Next time you get an appraisal, ask the guy to give you a sum of seven mesaure- this is literally the total of the seven skinfolds done which is a far more precise guide of where youre at in terms of body composition (using 7 skinfold sites is standard and pretty accurate). using the typical formula to determine bf% from skinfolds is pretty crude, more of a crude measure than BMI. Skinfold Sum of 7 however is a very precise measure. I work with athletes and this is standard practice. sum of seven total Female: <55mm is where athletes are usually, <90mm is average>, >110= gettin there!!!

Anywho long and short of it, and I think someone has already posted this but dont get too hung up over BF% etc.
