The caliper test is crap. As a side interest a couple of years ago, I completed my certification as a personal trainer. As part of the process, we were given about 45 minutes instruction on how to use these and then told that unless you take about 6 measurements (arms, legs torso in various places) they are not even remotely accurate. In addition to this, we were told that they are only about within +/- 10% at the best of times. However, they are valuable (if used consistently) to measure a change in body composition. So bottom line - you are likely a much lower percentage of body fat. Not to mention that high body fat percentages sells gym memberships.....
