Sport Climbing Australia announces:

This comp is confirmed for 9th September at Sydney Indoor Climbing Gym.

This competition will decide the Difficulty Climbing Champions of Australia, and the senior (open and masters) Australian Team for the 2006 Oceania Cup, Wanaka, New Zealand (Oct 6,7 & 8). See www.oceania.org.nz/

SCA can now announce that the major sponsors, Faders, Sydney Indoor Climbing and Tasty Holds are putting up $2100 CASH prize money and a further $10000 worth of other prizes. The SUM is the new belay/descender device from Faders that is now available.

Note that there are no qualification criteria – this comp is open to all.

Prizes are offered for not just the Open A category but for Open B and Masters. Spot prizes are also on offer – around 1 in 4 climbers will win something! The comp is open to anyone who is turning 16 this year or older, so Youth A & Juniors, come along & do the A or B category for some great experience.

Entry for all categories closes on Monday 4th September.
