Winter is definetely the time to climb. As stated earlier you just have to dress for it (thermals, down jacket etc) try and stay in the sun out of the wind etc, eat well, warm up nice and slowely and keep moving. Sport climbing or bouldering, preferably bouldering is where it is at when the temperature drops. Don't fret though, no matter how cold it is there is always a chance to get your shirt off. A real boulderer has nipples that can withstand sub arctic blasts, our ears however are often vulnerable to chilly summer breezes. Hey Neil, if you still have a down jacket on there is no way you are bouldering, I think we call that kind of stuff scrambling.
