?????????????? Burger Kings?

No need to justify yourself nmonteith, I'm not having a go at you m8. We are all free to approach climbing in anyway we like.

All I'm saying is if you're prepaired to ruff it your money can go alot further. Turning a 6 mth holiday into a few years of climbing (little or no work).

>our car cost A$3000 from a lot

If you payed that much to get a car out of an inpound lot then you got ripped of blind. $275 for the cost of processing the paper work and the car was free. (van not car though)

>American cops love pulling out guns at any chance they can get.

As some people on this forum seem to do with there keyboards.

As for europe, dirt bag approach about 40-50 pound a week, no car but easy to hitch. Easy to hook up with climbers when you get to an area. Restuarants are fine but if your there to climb for as long as possible, just buy local produce, cheap and good quaility.
Dumpster dinning isn't really possible.

My 2 bobs worth obsessedclimber. Which every way you want to spend your hard earned. Instead of trying to visit every crag you thought looked good in a mag, cut it down to a hand full and stay for a month or 2 at one crag/area before moving on, you'll climb alot better for it and meet locals and future contacts that you can freeload off.
