I pass on the following as posted by Canadian ice climber Margo Talbot of Vancouver on the Supertopos.com web site:

" Karen's memorial is at 2:00pm on Tuesday, June 20th, at the Canmore Seniors Centre located at 600 - 9th Street in Canmore, Alberta. There will be a reception afterwards and you can count on there being much glitter and faux fur bedecking all of the women and probably some of the men. If you cannot make it and would like to honor a wonderful woman, get out your leopard skin sports bras and blue sparkle make-up and go dancing!."

Nothing stopping my Aussie mob from cutting loose in the National in Nati - surely you are not going to let the crazy Canucks set the pace on this one! Have at it and celebrate an amazing climber and individual from the Antipodes. She needs to hear the raucous clamour echoing against the rising faces of the Grampians, out past the Pharos and across the big pond to the heights of Mt. Foraker where god has tied in her spirit for the ages. Create some climbing culture memories and share her spirit. And go rip into a few routes in her memory and that of her formidable partner - Sue Nott.
