Yup, theres tonnes of the stuff. The nearest interesting crag to Montpellier is St Bauzille du Montmel. Its got a big range of routes, though at only 20 mins drive from the city some of the lower grade routes are a bit polished, otherwise you've got crags like Thaurac (45 mins), Claret (45 mins) and theres plenty more a bit further away. There mostly all single pitch sport routes, though theres some multi pitch at Thaurac. Theres also an excellent climbing gym in Montpellier called Altissimo in Grabels (northern suberbs), for topos your best bet is a climbing shop called the Yeti which is again on the outskirts of Montpellier (Jacou) or the local crag bar. NB most of the crags are south facing so you'll turn to toast in the summer.
