I found a small rack of gear down from the base of Kachoong. A sling with a partial rack of assorted wires/hexes, a couple of cams, a couple of draws biners and a pretty rainbow sling etc. I put a note up on the pines toilet block for a week for the owner to collect them. Then I had to go home so I left the gear at the Nati climbing shop and changed the note to tell the owner to go there.
I (rightly or wrongly) trusted the shop owners to do the right thing and left it to karma.

I have found a No1RP and a No5 nut, both I kept.

Haven't really lost anything yet.

A mate had his full rack of BD camalots, metolious tricams, and dmm mambas (+ some tools of mine) stolen when some cnuts broke into the boot of my car whilst we were climbing up the blueys (sublime point) years ago. Mate was gutted, even I felt like crying (about his gear). It was a fairly small climbing community in the late 90s so i'm sure one of our 'bretheren' knew something about it. Either that or the rack is gathering dust in a bogans garage.
