I think most of those posts are hysteria, but there's another thread here: http://www.rockclimbing.com/topic/104768 that is a little concerning. (I have four aliens, only one has been fallen on, so far). If there is a weakness in the brazing that can't be visually inspected (unlike the crack in the old school U-stem camalots) then there's not much as climbers that we can do except double up on gear where practical. Probably a good thing to have something more than one cam between yourself and the deck anyway. Kyle
