I'm with you on the mountain bread and processed cheese portions Bob Saki. I shove 'em in my camel back when multi-pitching and it doesn't matter if they get squashed and hot, I throw in some semi dried tomatoes for a bit of extra flavour-double zip lock bagged :)

Anyone got any vegan lunch options, I've been feeling guilty about my OTT cheese consumption :( I was thinking I could take creamed corn but it comes in tins, which I'm guessing will hurt a little when jammed into my back. I used to get the squeeze tubes of humus but they stopped selling 'em :( Why can't the dairy industry be more environmentally friendly???? I love cheese-bugger chocolate's made of milk isn't it-crap there goes the vegan idea :(

I persist in taking bananas on trips only to return home with a bag full of squashed black bananas :( Though Mr Cheesehead once made me a banana, peanut butter and honey sandwich at the end of a hard days climbing, went down a treat with a cold beer (hmm thank god beer doesn't come from cows :))
