Did my first 1-4-7 yesterday, and I'm well stoked! That was with my left hand pulling (L on 4). Can't come close with my right (1-4-6 max).
Considering I'm right handed, I always find it strange that my left is better at this stuff (pulling and locking off). In every other way, my R side would be stronger. I'm wondering if it's because as a right hander, you generally clip rope with your most dexterous hand (right) and therefore your left hand is usually holding a lock. This is even more so when you're trad climbing because you're fiddling around with gear while locked off on your left. So the left gets good at pulling and locking.
