thisa seems pointless as a single pitch escursion. I think most aid climb ers would find this very boring. I
would> a bolt ladder to connest quality aiding is a different story. Many big names aid routes would not
exist where it not for bolt ladders (EG, the nose el cap, ozymandis>northwall to name but 2)

however when isa line more bolt ladder and when is it justifiable to connect quality aiding is another story!

another interesting debate among aiders is drilling/bathooking to "create" hard hooking pitches (cruxes of
clouded queen?)

to answer the OP, i think it is ludicrous to put up a bolt ladder at a single pitch free crag and those doing
so should be attacked with piton hammers and No 6 camalots
