I didn't take it personally at all. No offence whatsoever. I like debates.

Yes I see you are recognising genetics as a factor in weight or body size but I think like DaCrux and others that it's a complex matter and I don't think we know all the answers. But I do agree that food intake has a lot to do with weight (of course) and I see that people will often wonder why they are larger than other people but when you look at what they eat there is little mystery to it. I do eat small quantities compared to other people (only because I couldn't fit any more in) and I consume low fat products which to me taste the same as regular. When you get older you have to eat less fat unless you're doing heaps of exercise which I don't. But the difference is that I didn't have to be careful about eating (for weight control) until my early 30s. I'm quite sure my friends and I had similar diets as teenagers at school but my nickname was Annie Nervie and their's wasn't.
