Hi all,

Just to let you all in on some research a friend of mine did. A few years ago a friend of mine did some research into rope / sling failures etc as part of presentation to a New Zealand Mountain Guides course.

I just found the document and put it on my site - make for some interesting reading but remember its research that has been done privately.

For those mountaineering types in victoria you can also get copy of a document that details a series of tests carried out on snow anchors / strengths and failure mechanisms.
