Living the dream...

Leo Houlding, fresh from another succesful trip to Yosemite where he free climbed and BASE jumped both El Cap and Half Dome, has just returned from a brief visit to the Verdon on France. Together with larger than life Tim Emmett, the pair had a challenge to rise to. Jeremy Clarkeson, charismatic presenter of Top Gear was to race them from the base to the top of the gorge. Jeremy would be driving a 2006 model Audi RS4, 415 Break Horse Power with a limited top speed of 160mph! Leo and Tim would be climbing a 6 pitch 7a sport route called Le March De Temps. With a little practice, and stringing together the 3 crux 7a pitches into 1 70m monster, the pair topped out in 1 hour and 57 minutes to beat the car! They promptly BASE jumped back to the river...
