Extracted from The Advertiser (Bendigo, Vic), Monday, Sept 5 2005 Rock climbing equipment was stolen from a popular central Vic adventure-tourism destination last week. Valued at more than $5600, the gear was taken from Mt Kooyoora Tourist Park at Melvilles Caves. Inglewood police are investigating the theft which happened b/w 11am and 2pm on Thursday, Sept 1. They said a climbing instructor was teaching a group about rock climbing and had left the equipment near the lower car park at Mt Kooyoora. When the instructor returned to the site the equipment was gone. Anyone with information should phone Inglewood police on (03) 5438 3200
