one time had some beginner on salamander at araps sitting on a belay ledge when this guy calmly announced he was an epilectic ?? and had not bought his mediation on the weekend but he was getting a bit worried by the exposure

also had a friend as he was getting onto the ledge to belay the rope came off his harness and back to the ground so he was stuck on a good ledge 30 metres up and 30 metres to go very interesting finding a belay from the top with limited gear.

worst thing probably to happen to me was one easter at arap with a large group and went to golden fleece . My three/four year son came with us and he thought it was great and climbed around and enjoyed himself around the bottom . he was watching every climbing and quite happy. I headed up the cliff and was up a far way when somebody told him to look at daddy --he looked and screamed and took off screaming three people were sitting with him but all had taken their boots off fortunately one of them got to him just before a bit of a drop . It had been a lovely sunny day and soe cumulus clouds had started to drift in from the west -- when looked up a big cloud was coming over the cliff and he assumed the cliff was falling rather than the cloud moving .
the year before we had put out some small easter eggs around the tent which the kids took great delight in picking up and eating . Next morning they we out of bed early and very quiet then they came to share their treasure they had a plate full of rabbit droppings and couldn't eat any more so had come to share with us .
