just realised you were the guys camped near armandos crew. I was one of the two who had "terminal tent failure" We camped in a pretty exposed spot, but the winds really werent that strong, by my reckoning about 50-60 Kmph??, anyway i was extremely surprised that our tent (a supposed expedition rated Mountain designs tent, called a ridge I think) tore at the corner where the pole/peg attaches to the inner . the top pole then tore through the fly fabric. A bit of fun at 4am.

Apart from being a little chilly we were quite happy to huddle near your tents in the hollow for the rest of the night, i think armando was really worried about us that morning, though we really were fine!
