if the bolt head is recessed in the hold it will be hard to cut the head off without wrecking the hold. I would
drill the head of the bolt out then push the bolt and tee nut through the back of the wall.the drill bit only
needs to be the same or just lower diameter than the shaft of the bolt not as large as the head of the bolt
once the shaft is detached the head will be left as a sleeve on the drill bit. if the bolt is hardened steel
this may be quite difficult and may not workn very well, i have not done this with the bolts used on
climbing walls which i think are pretty hard. if the hold is a cheap one then the grinder may be a better
option. however more people have access to drills than grinders. |
