That great big chickenhead is now gone? What a shame! Would have been a bit of a thrill to have that come off while you're chalking up one-handed.

Yeah, that’s new, Dusty did that about 3 weeks ago. I wasn't there but the dialogue was something along the lines of:

Tom: "Hey dusty hang by an arm for the photo"
Dusty:" no probs....Fark!"

Just waiting for someone to replace it with a big green horn from gym.

Hahaha sweet, I was wondering how long it would be before that thing came off.

Seriously though, I'm suprised it's lasted as long as it has. Every time I've gotten on that route I've pulled something off the headwall... Damn choss.

I know this thread is ancient.... but I just did Mosquito Slap last Friday, so I'm going to bring it back up....

Where was the chickenhead before Dusty pulled it off??

I've seen the photo of the infamous Dusty falling off, but it's of such quality that even my keen young eyes can't see the chickenhead...

Any chance someone could post a link to a high-quality copy of the photo?
