wow, what an exciting topic this has been (in the voice of larry enders)
now i just want to put a couple of points up.

i am sorry for the sexist pig that i am for using the word "Guy" to adress the male and female members of chockstone, and i did not mean to say that all of you have a bad sense in taste when it comes to fashion

also, too quote a young up and coming climbing, cass crane... "At a very young age I discovered what climbing was... a dance. Climbing is a flow of energy that can be a peaceful experience at the height of its intensity" (www.casscrane.com)
and tell me... what is a dance without music???

some musics greats have been brought up in this poll, Rage Against The Machine being a personal favourite

and in my experience, when at the gym, some good bouldering music would be a bit of Heavy Metal (Got the Life by korn, Chop Suey by System of a down), route climbing music is a good mix of Rap and RnB, Dance and a bit of Rock, although once in a blue moon i do get a craving for a bit of Marley, Jack Johnson or Smashing Pumpkins...
But then again, these are all just personal Choices/favourites..

I think it all comes down to what you like to listen too, wheather it is classic, Poodle Rock, Rap, Sunday Morning music or nothing at all...
