Desired info and format in guidebooks... |

It seems people prefer 'more info' than 'less info'. I suppose well drawn topos could be better than dodgy photos, particularly if the latter weren't easily obtained.
I actually started this thread after I heard a person saying "thats too much info" in reference to a proposed format for new guidebook. I wondered if others felt the same way and I was expecting too much from a book bought specifically for the purpose of gaining information about climbs...
I have thumbed through (but not used in anger) a Spanish climbing guide and they are fantastic publications, we could do a lot worse than follow their lead.
