i think thats what they pay sherpa's to do. and sabu's right. but sometimes a sherpa from each team will get together and put it up as agroup, i think it varies as to who is going each year.

yeah, but inexperianced people will always attempt it, it's part of the allure of it. so having fixed lines probably will make it safer then it would otherwise be for them. part of the problem posed by the commercialisation of it. them team that's going: 20 people. in the begining, and for professional mountaineers it would usually be 2-3 people going.
