I used to do it all the time when I did a lot of waterskiing for cuts on my feet. When I started climbing I started doing it to my hands and it works really well. Doctors are using it more and more in place of stitches as the scars left behind are often less. Works good for me, as with all good pieces of advice, If pain persists, please see a doctor.
