Hubby and I are both climbers and are the proud parents of 1 year old twin boys. It takes alot of time to organise trips , and we find it's simplest to just get babysitters. Having children has altered the way we climb, no longer are we prepared to lead risky climbs, and mostly just toprope. I find it hard to imagine being in a relationship where one person would have the power to just forbid another person from doing something they enjoy. Sure climbing is dangerous, but so is driving, swimming, working, just about everything if you think about it. How many people die in their sleep? Maybe we'd all better stop sleeping!! |
