Newcastle?? Nooooooo!!!
I'm from the central coast, bout 30-40 mins south of Newcastle. I moved down to Melbourne at the start of last year and sure the winters down here are sucky, but the quality of life and climbing more than compensates for that! Newcastle is very scenic and economic to live in and yeah sure 'technically' its close to the Blue mountains but take into consideration your going to be living with 80% skegs (beach bogans) and copping Sydney traffic every time you head for the mountains or Nowra.
Anyhow as Jacs said trying a few places is probably good....and sorry to all the hunter region folk! |
