Come to Queensland for winter. Fine days, cool dry air promotes great friction. You can chase the sun around the cliff to stay warm or on those odd hot days just stay in the shade.
Frog Buttress is a must do for its row upon row of starry cracks. Mt. Tibrogargan in the Glasshouse Mountains is pretty speccy for its multipitch climbing either adventurous trad or multi pitch sport. Mt. Warning is a definite must do as well for its remote wilderness hard adventure climbing on one of Australias biggest walls.
There are numerous other cliffs scattered around south east Queensland as well. Not only that the surf will still be up and the water reasonably warm for that dip in the South Pacific Ocean. Do the rainforest thing and all the theme parks and your golden. Maybe the whale watching could be your thing too and then there is the Great Barrier Reef.
Hmm, sounds so good I might have to take a holiday myself. ;))

I thought his shark museum was at Hervey Bay. BIG frozen shark in there. Vic rools. As cheesy as he sounds Steve Irwins Reptile Park is definitely well worth checking out too. The good thing is that it is a couple of K up the road from the Glasshouse Mountains. Do the touristy thing with the missus and then bolt for Tibro and get in a run up the Caves Route and Trojan. Nice.
