Yes there are some very steep lines, yes many have been climbed, yes there is lots of friable loose rock, but I think the absence of topos and route description is quite deliberate.
Some vague details are given in Louise Shephards old guide.
The place has an incredible remote mystique despite its proximity to well developed areas. Screaching of raptors fighting terrible territorial battles in the morning thermals. Enjoy your exploration but think carefully about the impact of putting up and popularising a route. I thinks its obscurity of access protect this interest, along with the incredible rock quality of the front side by comparison. |
