mate I had no criticism of your post,
thoroughly enjoyed it unless I took it the wrong way and you would have preferred spending time playing with your power tool to actually climbing.

Anonymity and cyberspace allows a serious low profile (read low public climbing achievement) climber to express concerns about the attitudes of some climbers today, shielded from where some big shot who stands to gain from climbing commercialisation can shoot down from their high number tower.

Not about a moral high point, just concerned about what it means to be a climber now. whether or not we'll be priveledged to climb new routes at all in future, how our access gets restricted and the like.
