Wow! I stayed there with my family around 1971 just as I was getting interested in (the idea of) climbing. Over my climbing years I spent many (many!) hours in the cafe. I always dreamt of taking my own family to stay at the chalet but by the time that was an option the dream had disappeared after the chalet closed. Whatever else you can about the Chalet, as accommodation goes the location was to die for! I'm really glad the cafe is operating again, and I hope the business is successful. There was nothing better than a cold milkshake after Angels!
