Thanks dudes - Hi Simon!

Dude - Mikl and I drove 5 hours to New River Gorge, it was raining, we got out of the car and went to a damp dark bouldering cave that was the only fry place. I did warm up, but not adequately as all the easier routes were wet - the cave was dripping in places and very damp, all the easier problems were dripping wet and slimy. I hurt myself on a roof move - a really powerful undercling with a crimp in the back. Serves me right for being silly. I did the move like three times before this happened, and all the while Mikl refused saying it was too hard for him to pull on in that position. I was showing off I guess - I was soo happy to be back and bouldering really well (for me at least) and I wastelling this dude who we met how happy I was to be back on rock again after my injury last year - when BAM it happened again! he gave me the oddest look - and I just couldnt believe it. We got back in the car and drove 5 hrs home. I'm surprised Mikl didnt ask for a divorce, I was a bit melodramatic on the way home, shall we say.

I'm still not sure what I've done - although I'm hedging my bets with an A2 tear. Same finger, different pulley. I've basically decided just to get back into really easy climbs as soon as possible, and more or less to give up hard climbing/bouldering for a long time. Obviously I am prone to these types of injuries - and I just want to be able to go climbing - scary multipitch is where I think I'll end up.
