Hi everyone !
I have holidays in 5 weeks (starting 25th september) and me and a few freinds are going for our fiorst climbing roadtrip ! (and before I go further Id love to hear other's stories of good times/epics)
So heres the deal > > we have a choice of north or south from canberra. we have 2 weeks
North > wed go, Blueis, bungles, kaputar maybe girraween and maybe frog, depending on how far we got !! (love to see glasshouse too > and Mt warning !!)
south itd be araps for a week the gramps and a couple of days at buffulo (still snow in sep/oct??)
Ive never been to any of the above places (only climbed ACT, point perp, nowra, bluies, bolue lake) AND really want more LONG climb experience (buyngles) before NZ this summer > but schools running another trip to the bungles anyway !!
so > what do you suggest, its probably north cos of the good weather !!!
(id love to go to frenchmans, but spenging two weeks in the shit weather that wed get would suck !)
PS> (I only lead moderate below 20 trad but have lots of multipitch experience, and would love to do another 2 day route (mt warning???), and arent too keen on much sport climbing this holidays!
thanks for the advice !!! |
