We are currently recruiting for a full time chef that is passionate about produce and has the skills to work in a busy kitchen. Accom included.

Harvest Halls Gap is a brand new café, provedore and accommodation business that prides itself on celebrating the bounty of produce available in the Grampians region by providing delicious and wholesome food. This newly opened café has been fitted with a brand new commercial kitchen.

To be suitable for this role, you will:

have experience cooking in a busy commercial kitchen
display cooking abilities that allow you to prepare a range of dishes
be proficient and capable in your role when not supervised
As a team player, you will exhibit the qualities that show you work well with clear direction. You will be organised, driven and committed to delivering high quality food.

In the instance that the head cook is rostered off or away, you will also have the opportunity to increase your leadership skills in a Head Cook role.

The café currently has opening hours of Monday to Sunday, 8am – 4pm. We will shortly be extending this to dinner service three days a week. Your exact roster is negotiable. You must be available to work evenings and weekends.
