Hi there,

The interschool comp is, as the others say, aimed at FUN.

You get three climbs in the comp, and your score is based on how far you get up the climb. Each climb is of a different difficulty and is scored proportionately.

In most instances climbers top out on 2 of the 3 climbs they attempt.

We grade them per normal in the gym, which we think is pretty well line ball, not "easy" or "hard". The route setters all climb the climbs and come to a consensus.

We do not nominate or tell the grades as we think that takes the fun out of the event and makes it a bit serious.

We don't throw in silly dynos etc, the route setting will be targeted at a "school" level.
