Anyone know of any climbable cliffs around Mt Bulla?

There's a thing called "Andromeda" but I'm not sure that I would call it either a cliff or climbable. It's in Chris Baxter's old "Central Victoria" guide. You may wish to look it up to work out how desperate you are.

It is all choss for rockclimbing. Easy angled shale cliff bands. OK for winter ice routes though...

Is it Mt Buller or Mount Bulla? Buller is near Mansfield and Bulla is near Sunbury (?) The only climbing "close" to Sunbury would be the Organ Pipes NP and that area is off limits to rock climbers. If it is Buller then Neil knows all about it. Andromeda is more correctly known as the South Blue Range and both it and Mount Buller are covered by the Eastern Victoria guide.

When are you going? Some ice gear might be useful at Buller in mid-winter.
