Hi, Noticed that you guys wanted to restart AMIN site. Have to say i tried to join or get some info and i wasn't very impressed anyways it's Sydney based. Better off starting something from scratch with a Melbourne/Victoria focus and National outlook as this seems to be the place where things get to happen.

I'm not too sure if there is anything worth salvaging from AMIN except for the name. I'm an active moutaineer, also with many years experience coding websites and databases. I'm at a loose end at the moment (Back from NZ looking for contracts) so i'm happy to contribute my time and experience with others until things start moving again.

I hate Yahoo groups please don't go down this road, i find yahoo groups the biggest pain in the arse. I've subscribed to the NZAC forums as im an NZAC member and they suck. I'm happy to organise something better if anyone else wants to help co-ordinate things? Drop me an email and we can have a coffee and chat and get things moving. There are lots of Aussie mountain climbers and i know we are all looking for the same info or place to share experiences. Lets do something!

P.S Although trying to doing something different to chockstone is going to be a hard ask as this site is pretty good!
