To add to Mikl's post - I find that when I make Us it's easy to end up with the end piece 5cm longer than most of the bars. This means you can make a nice wide staple so that wear will be spread over a greater area, and it's dead easy to clip several things (e.g. draw to clip when finishing, sling to hang off while threading, fixed maillon to thread, random draw to keep it out of the way....).

Now I want to bolt the remaining routes at a couple of crags. Should do the trad horror show first though.
