I think we should take a moment to appreciate the artistry and craftsmanship of the initial image..... the lone solitary figure striding forward through the apocalyptic destruction wrought upon the land. Having not read the accompanying text, the lighting and clarity of the shot brought to mind old photographs of war torn regions far, far away. I was amazed to learn this was regional Victoria.
Truly this is an artist doing some of his best work. It brings to mind this classic image from the Mount Beckworth Toilets thread:
